Santi Moar has been named the first From the Ashes/Rising Matchday Player of the Month for April/May 2021.

Moar scored five goals across the five games so far this season, while also recording three assists and creating 12 chances – the third most in USL Championship.

Additionally, Moar is the only player on his side to have been named Man of the Match on more than one occasion in 2021. He was selected as such in three of the five games to date.

The Player of the Month award was calculated based upon average match ratings for all games in April and May. Both fan and media votes were combined with equal weighting. All players who received a rating in at least half of all games over the period were eligible for the award.

Rising’s midfielder Kevon Lambert and defender James Musa finished in second and third place respectively.

Fans can submit their player ratings each match by completing that game’s form as posted on social media.
