- Tulsa Roughnecks currently occupy 7th spot in the Western Conference table, with 43 points from 29 games. Rising are in 5th, with 49 from 29.
- The difference between both teams tonight should only be 3 points. However, Tulsa forfeited their first game of the season at home to Colorado Springs Switchbacks. That game had finished 4-1 to the Roughnecks, but the USL awarded Switchbacks a 3-0 victory because the home team had fielded an ineligible player.
- Tulsa has enjoyed a mixed run of form in the last five games, with two wins (against Whitecaps 2 and Los Dos), one draw/tie (against Timbers 2) and two defeats (against OKC and San Antonio).
- The two sides last met, in July, when Tulsa earned a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Ian Svantesson, Jacori Hayes and Christian Thierjung.
- Tulsa have scored more goals in the second half than the first. They are most likely to score during the middle 15 minutes of either half.
- Ian Sventesson is the Roughnecks’ top scorer, with a total of 11 goals from 28 appearances. Another potent striker is Joey Calistri, who has picked up 9 goals this season.
- Their key player in midfield is Juan Pablo Caffa. The 33 year old Argentinian, who graduated from Boca Juniors youth setup, has 6 assists this season. He has also created more than twice as many chances as any other player on the team.
- Tulsa have conceded more goals in the second half than the first, but have also secured 9 league shut-outs this season.
