By the Numbers…

32 – The total number of points that Louisville gained at home in the regular season.

6 – The number of home regular and postseason games played since Louisville last lost – a September 11 1-0 defeat against FC Cincinnati. They’ve won all of those games.

14 – The number of goals Golden Boot winner Cameron Lancaster scored at home this year.

5/6 – Louisville’s penalty conversion rate at home. Brian Ownby is the only player to miss a spot kick against Indy Eleven. Ilija Ilič has successfully converted three. Cameron Lancaster and Kyle Smith have scored one apiece.

44% – The proportion of Louisville home goals scored in the last 15 minutes of each half.

40.6 – The average number of minutes between Louisville goals. They average more than 2 goals per game (home and away).

4 – The number of direct free kick goals scored by City. That’s one less than Rising, despite Louisville scoring ten goals more.

2 – The number of goals conceded by Louisville at Slugger Field this season in the first 15 minutes of each half. City have been held to a draw in all four of those games.

55% – Louisville’s average possession rate this season. That’s the same as Orange County, and well ahead of Rising’s 46%.

77.8% – City’s pass completion rate. While above average, this isn’t spectacular.

11 – The number of goals scored by Louisville in the playoffs to date. That’s two more than Rising.

5,300 – The regular seated capacity of Lynn Stadium. While that number will be supplemented by temporary bleachers and standing tickets, it’s less than half of the 14,456 fans who attended last year’s USL Cup final in KY.  It’s also only two-thirds of their regular and postseason home average in 2018.

7 – The number of MLS games that USL Cup final referee Joseph Dickerson has taken charge of this year. He’s shown three red cards across that spell. He also had the whistle for Rising’s 1-0 win at Reno and the 5-2 defeat in Vegas.
